Coverage Spotlight counts distinct publisher articles in the current edition. Left and lean-left sources are grouped as Left; right and lean-right as Right. These are edition statistics, not a measure of truth, audience opinion or all journalism.
A shared edition, thoughtfully assembled
News feeds and publisher metadata help discover reporting. AI assists with topic matching and short gray additions to feed headlines, grounded in article text. Those additions are cached for the shared cycle; the article reader preserves the publisher’s headline. Personalizing your slider does not change the edition statistics.
