Using Prism
Prism is a news discovery and comparison service. Its shared edition groups coverage of the same event and lets readers move between source categories. Availability changes with publisher access and the day’s coverage.
Original reporting
Stories, photographs, logos and quoted social posts remain the property of their respective owners. Source attribution and original links are part of the experience. Prism is independent of the publishers it displays and does not imply their endorsement. Support their reporting by visiting their sites and subscribing where appropriate.
Prism’s organization, topic summaries and interface are separate from publisher reporting. Short gray headline additions are generated from article material to balance the feed layout; they are not part of the publisher’s original headline. Open the article to see the original title.
Perspective and accuracy
Source categories are broad editorial aids, not judgments about an article’s truth, sentiment or quality. Users may customize them. Automated matching and summaries can contain errors. Compare original reporting and check the source before relying on information. X posts are attributed public posts, not Prism endorsements or a comprehensive measure of public opinion.
Free and Pro
The Free edition offers up to five topics per day. Planned Pro pricing is US $11.99 monthly or $89.99 yearly; Student is US $6.99 monthly with self-declared student eligibility. Pro offers up to ten daily topics and additional Coverage Spotlight breakdowns. Coverage availability can reduce the number of topics. Prices and availability shown by the App Store at checkout control.
When available, subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple Account settings before renewal. Apple handles billing, cancellation and refund requests. No payment is taken on this website. Development previews are not paid subscriptions and do not create an entitlement.
Responsible access
Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, defeat reading limits, impersonate publishers, or redistribute content without the necessary rights. Links to third-party sites are subject to those sites’ terms.
Availability
The app and website are in development and may change. We aim for reliable access but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, complete coverage, or error-free information. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
